We had a big garage sale over the weekend. Both kids got to buy something they picked out ahead of time as long as they left all their "for sale" items outside and sent them to Goodwill when the sale was over. Thankfully, it worked! Now we have fewer toys inside and some new skates in the garage.

Working in the Yard

Justin and the kids have been doing some work in the yard while I'm at work on the weekends. Luckily we've had some really nice days to get out and enjoy the sunshine. Our tree bloomed a couple of weeks ago and Justin managed to get a few cute pics of the kiddos with it.

Springtime Planting!

We decided to plant some veggies and flowers from seeds this year since the kids have been so curious about it. It started with some pumpkin seeds the Easter Bunny brought Kevin and ever since the sprouted this past weekend, that's about all they can talk about. Here are some pictures from our planting this afternoon. Now all we need to do is figure out where we're going to have our garden. Looks like we'll need a dog run!

The Penna Boys Take On Bandon!

After two months of anticipation, the guys finally got to make their trek to Bandon in Joe's new motorhome. They played two of the three courses on Friday and Saturday. Judging by the pictures, videos and stories, I think they had a great time.

Monday was my mom's birthday so the kids and I went down for the afternoon to visit. For those of you who don't know...Grace has always called my mom Grandma Curly Hair and it stuck:) They have that trait in common:) Here are some pictures from the day...

Fun with Grace

Well, after almost losing Grace at school pickup today (long story), we came home and had a fun afternoon while Kevin was napping. It was another sunny,warm day in Portland! She rode her scooter and bike, collected rocks, drew with chalk, and then decided to take a little rest on her Care Bear rugs in the driveway:)

Justin's Awesome Movie!

For the past couple of weeks we have had some amazing weather in Portland. Justin took the kids to the park one weekend and got some great video. He, of course, is much more technologically capable than me and made this little clip. Kevin and Grace ask to watch it every day and the song has been dubbed The Park Song. I'm sure Jack Johnson would be so proud!
